Recurrence Risk Following Percutaneous Transthoracic Needle Biopsy in Patients Undergoing Sublobar Resection for Stage I Lung Cancer

In patients undergoing sublobar resection for pathologic stage I lung cancer, preoperative percutaneous transthoracic biopsy was associated with an increased risk of local-regional recurrence, especially in the remnant lung.
