Research progress of bortezomib-induced peripheral neuropathy

Proteasome inhibitor bortezomib has been used to treat various of tumors,its most important side effect is peripheral neuropathy,which limits its clinical application.This paper briefly described the etiology and risk factors of bortezomib-induced peripheral neuropathy (BIPN),the pathological mechanism,the clinical manifestation,the method of detection and evaluation.And the prevention and treatment of BIPN are introduced.
