摘要
This paper introduces the structure of the antipodal Vivaldi antenna to achieve ultra-wideband, and realizes the purpose of miniaturization by adding the periodic slots on the antipodal Vivaldi antenna radiators. The antenna unit size is 48mm×72mm×0.508mm, compared with the traditional Vivaldi antenna, the unit size is much smaller. The simulation results show that, the standing wave VSWR of the antenna is less than 2.5 from 2.7GHz to 18GHz, and the maximum gain of the antenna can reach 10.9 dB. This unit is used to design an 8-element non-uniformly distributed antenna array. The antenna array can achieve ±60° scanning in the 2-18GHz operating frequency band, which can be used for airborne and missiles and other platforms.
