Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of amiodarone treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia( PSVT) and adverse reactions, and comparative analysis with propafenone. Methods Totally 97 cases of PSVT patients in our hospital from October 2011 to October 2013 were treated, depending on the application randomly divided into 49 cases of drug amiodarone group( observation group) and 48 cases of propafenone group( control group),two groups of patients were amiodarone and propafenone treatment, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared. Results The total effective rate was 93. 88% in observation group and in the control group was 93. 75%,the difference was not statistically significant( P 0. 05). The patients mean cardioversion time( 28. 35 ± 7. 01) min, successful cardioversion 46 cases( 93. 88%); Cardioversion control group patients with an average time( 11. 00 ± 3. 16) min, successful cardioversion in 44 cases( 91. 67%),two group cardioversion success rate difference was not statistically significant( P 0. 05),but the average cardioversion of patients in the control group was significantly shorter in the observation group( P 0. 05).The patients of adverse reactions was 10. 20% in observation group,47. 92% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion Amiodarone therapy on paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia cardioversion long time, slow onset, but has good clinical efficacy, fewer adverse reactions than propafenone PSVT tolerated.
