Radiation Resistant Phenylene Silicone Rubber

The effect of various recipe factors on radiation resistance of phenylene silicone rubber was investigated.As a crosslinking agent of the compound the combination of DBMPH with paste BP or DCP was recommended.Fumed silica is a effective reinforcing filler,while metal oxides may be used for improving heat resistance.Phenylene silicone rubber is applicable for manufacturing heat and radiation resistant rubber parts in the nuclear energy devices.
