[Objective] To screen the strains with strong capacity to decompose the cellulose in the distiller's grains.[Method] The cellulose-decomposing strains were firstly screened out by sampling, culture, the diameter ratios of hydrolysis circle to colony and the degradation ratios of filter paper, and then re-screened through the measurement of enzymatic activities.Their practical cellulose-degrading and producing capacities were measured through solid-state fermentation.[Result] 23 cellulose-producing strains were primarily screened out,and five of them were left after re-screening,all the five strains showed strong capacity to decompose the cellulose in the distiller's grains.[Conclusion] The five strains perform well in decomposing the cellulose of the distiller's grain, and the study provides basis for the comprehensive utilization of the distiller's grain.
