Control of grain growth and its influence on microware dielectric properties of (Pb,Ca)[Fe,Nb]O_3 ceramics

The inherent mechanism of grain growth and doing improvement of (Pb,Ca)[Fe,Nb]O_3 ceramics were investigated. The results show that producing parameters especially sintering temperature and time had great influence on grain shape and size. with the increasing of sintering temperature and time ,grain size increased gradually. However the porosity also increased at the sintering temperature higher 1130℃.A grain growth model was expounded to certify that different kind of material has its different optimal sintering temperature clue to its different composition and grain shape. The control of the optimal sintering temperature is the key process to control the behaviors of material.
