Based on the modeling and calculation of the Integrated Specific Fuel Consumption(ISFC) for single-parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV),the working range of each mode of HEV power train system is determined according to the target of the lowest ISFC,and the corresponding energy management strategy is established.The fuel economy simulation and analysis with the designed energy management strategy have been conducted using Matlab/Simulink platform,the results show that the HEV fuel economy with the strategy proposed by this paper has been greatly improved comparing with conventional vehicle and with the ruled-based control strategy respectively.
