Study of effects of the sex difference on pulse condition

Objective: To observe the effects of the sex difference on pulse condition.Methods: Combined doctor took the pulse with ZM-Ⅲ C type of intellective pulse condition apparatus to determine the pulse condition of the 1062 healthy students of university.The percentages of every types of pulse conditions in different sex were compared.Results: The percentages of the slow pulse,the relaxed pulse and the replete pulse in male is higher than that in female.The percentages of the rapid pulse and the fine pulse in female is higher than that in male(P0.01).The percentages of the floating pulse,the sunken pulse,the string-like pulse and the slippery pulse in different sex have no significant deviation(P0.05).Conclusions: The difference of sex and the pulse condition have consanguineous relativity,the physiological slow pulse,moderate pulse and replete pulse are the characteristic of male,the physiological rapid pulse and fine pulse are the characteristic of female.
