Progress in production technology for polycarbonate

Polycarbonate resins are commercially manufactured by interfacial processes(phosgene routes) and melt processes(non-phosgene routes).Because of environmental considerations,non-phosgene routes have been investigated.The major production technologies for polycarbonate and their research development at home and abroad are reviewed in this paper.The suggestions for domestic polycarbonate industry are put forward as well.
