Grafting for maleic anhydride onto polypropylene was studied by using a double-screw extruder. The conditions of melt-grafting for maleic anhydride onto polypropylene were optimized by the orthogonal experiment. The influences of the concentration of DCP,MAH and ABX on the ratio of grafting were investigated and analyzed. The assistant ABX could reduce the degradation of PP and improve the grafting ratio of MAH. The preferable proportion of reactant is like this m(PP)∶ m(MAH)∶m(DCP)∶m(ABX)=100∶4∶0.4∶0.35.
