Pathogenicity of Spodoptera litura Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus(SlNPV) from Japan to Spodoptera litura

The pathogenicity of Spodoptera litura nuclear polyhedrosis virus(SlNPV) from Japan to the Spodoptera litura was investigated to determine the lethal concentration.The susceptibility of larvae decreased and the median lethal concentration(LC50) increased as the larval instar increased.The susceptibility of larvae increased and the median lethal concentration(LC50) decreased as the cultural temperature increased between 15℃ and 30℃.
