Study on Xylitol Fermentation by Using of Enzyme or Acid Hydrolysis of Corn Stalk

The corn stalk hydrolysate consist of xylose was obtained by cellulase or diluted sulfuric acid hydrolysis,and was fermented by Candida tropicalis.The result showed that there was a higher content of xylose in acid hydrolysate,and the xylitol productivity and conversion rate of xylose were slightly higher than enzyme hydrolysis,but no statistically significant difference.
