摘要
In article number 1807161, Jifang Tao, Dan Zhao, and co-workers present a facile defect-engineering approach to tune the electronic structure of hierarchical ZnO nanosheets derived from metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). The interrelation between oxygen vacancies of ZnO nanosheets and their gas-sensing performance is elucidated. This method sheds light on the rational design of sensing materials and simplifies the mass production, commercialization. and widespread deployment of sensors with controllable morphology and superior sensing performance targeted for ppb-level gas detection.
