Demand for petroleum transport in Victoria

Petroleum and petroleum transport are related because anything that restricts the demand for petroleum products also restricts the demand for petroleum transport. But the demand for petroleum transport may be restricted without affecting the demand for the petroleum products themselves. This paper describes the different components that affect the demand for petroleum transport in Victoria. It concentrates on the dispersion of petroleum users and the uses to which petroleum products are put, and how they are related to petroleum transport demand (a).
