Research on the Health Behavior of Rural Residents

OBJECTIVE Based on the survey,we analyze the health behavior of rural residents in Shandong Province.Then the results can provide the scientific basis for government's optimizing improvement of health promotion in the rural areas.METHODS By a multistage stratified random sampling method,we select eight counties in Shandong Province,40 administrative villages,20 087 people.Investigators conduct face-to-face questionnaire survey households.RESULTS Smoking rate,passive smoking rate,quit smoking rate and drinking rate is 32.3%,48.7%,14.1% and 30.2% respectively;8.5% of the respondents eat less than 6 g salt per-day;2.9% of the respondents always have physical exercise,average length is 49.1 min per-time.CONCLUSION The inhabitants in rural area of Shandong Province have not formed health behavior,and the health education in rural areas need further improvement.
