Clinical Study on the Splinting of Loose Teeth with Moderate/severe Periodontitis

Objective:To investigate the change of clinical parameters including PD,CAL,PIL,and BOP,after the loose teeth with the moderate/severe periodontitis were splinted by fiber-reinforced composites,then discuss the reasons of failed cases with the several resin matrix composite splint.Methods:15 patient(90 teeth)with severe periodontitis were recruited.The teeth were splinted by the biosplint with dyract flow,and then measured the periodontal parameters at baseline,3m,6m,12 mrespectively.Results:The periodontal parameters had statistical changes after splinting the loose teeth.Conclusion:Splinting loose teeth with biosplint,dentist's professional maintenance and the patient's good care,which is very important for successful splinting.Biosplint was an effective way to the loose teeth with the moderate/severe periodontitis.
