Bacteriostasis of Momordica charantia L. and Ilex kudingcha C. J. Tseng and development of bagged tea from them

The bacteriostasis of Momordica charantia L . and Ilex kudingcha C. J. Tseng and the development of bagged tea from them were studied. The results showed that the extracts of Momordica charantia L . and Ilex kudingcha C. J. Tseng had strong inhibition effects on the common contaminating vaccine in laboratory food, and that these extracts were characterized by their high thermal stability and low inhibiting concentration. So, Momordica charantia L . and Ilex kudingcha C. J. Tseng could be used to make bagged tea.
