Synthesis and Characterization of Nanowires Via Hydrothermal Method

CdSe nanowires are synthesized hydrothermally at 120 ℃ with CdCl2·2.5H2O used as cadmium source,sodium selenosulfate(Na2SeSO3)used as selenium source,and EDTA used as complexing agent.The products are investigated by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The results show that hexagonal CdSe nanowires are synthesized,And the possible growth mechanism is discussed.
