Considering for the special demand of the front-end DC/DC converter in fuel cell power generation system,a two-stage DC/DC converter which consists of Boost converter and push-pull forward converter (PPFC) is discussed.As PPFC works at the maximum duty cycle,the voltage stresses on push-pull switching devices and rectifiers are low.This can optimize the design of the converter.The operation principle is analyzed,as well as design of key parameters.A prototype of 500 W output is built up and the experimental results verify the correctness of the design.
