Research Of Apple Orchard Acidified Soil Ajusting Technology in Donggang District in Rizhao

Donggang District has been identified as one of the project counties of the first batch for soil testing and fertilizer formulation by agriculture department in 2006.Bureau of Agriculture has determined the pH of all the farmers and apple orchard in Donggang.The data of apple orchard showed that the soil pH5.5 accounted for 63%of 736 soil samples.An average data was only 5.3.soil acidification has become an obstacle to high-quality apple production.Since the soil was acidified seriously,Donggang District carryed out a technical research on adjusting acidified soil with quicklime in order to magage orchard scientifically and increase the yield and quality of the fruit.
