Clinical Observation of Tanreqing Injection in Treatment for Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in the Elderly Respiratory Ward

Objective To observe the clinical effective of Tanreqing injection in treatment for acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) in the elderly respiratory ward. Methods The patients were randomly divided into two groups and every group has 49 patients. They were given conventional treatment of western medicine, the therapeutic group were Tanreqing injection. Results The effect of the therapeutic group is better than the control group. Conclusions Tanreqing is satisfactory in treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and has no obvious adverse reactions.
