The variation of content of pueraria isoflavone and puerarin from Pueraria lotata in the Taibai Montain with different season was studied in this paper.The Pueraria lotata in 12 months of a year in the Taibai Montain was collected.The content of isoflvone from the Pueraria lotata was determined by Spectrophotometry and the content of free puerarin and total puerarin was determined by HPTLC.The results showed that the highest content of isoflavone from the puearia lotata was 18 53% in March;The highest content of free puerarin and total puerarin was 7 45% and 8 93% in April,respectively.To study the content of isoflavone and puerarin from the Pueratia lotata in the Taibai Montain with different season could provide an experimental basis for harvesting and developing the Pueratia lotata in the Taibai Montain.
