A Study on the Extraction of the Bioactive Constituents in the Leaves of Eucommia ulmoides

It is found that temperature and time evidently effect the extraction of aucubin by single factor and orthogonal experiments, and temperature also evidently effects the extraction of flavonoids. The preferable conditions for the extraction of the bio active constituents from the leaves of Eucommia ulmoides are as follows: temperature, 80℃; solvent, 60% ethanol;3 times of extraction and 30 min per time.
