摘要
We report on a spectroscopic investigation and a rate-equation model for predicting the performance of high-power in-band pumped Ho:YAG lasers accounting for energy-transfer upconversion. This model is validated experimentally by developing a multi-Watt Ho:YAG bulk oscillator.
