摘要
As technology advances, it is crucial to reduce generational gaps by supporting older people's engagement with digital technology for lifelong learning. This research investigates how digital technology can facilitate learning among older generations, exploring both challenges and benefits. Using a mixed methods approach, the study combines literature review with expert interviews to develop a learning platform for elderly users. The platform was evaluated using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), which revealed four key factors: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, facilitating condition, and social influence. The study emphasizes strategies to promote digital technology use for lifelong learning among the elderly, implementing the Japanese Ikigai concept. By understanding acceptance factors and developing an ICT literacy learning platform based on senior learners' preferences, this research provides insights for creating technology-enhanced learning opportunities for older generations. The findings can guide educators and policymakers in using technology to enhance elderly people's quality of life through lifelong learning.
