Inflammation in alcohol-associated hepatitis: pathogenesis and therapeutic targets

We describe the current understanding of inflammatory cells, inflammatory mediators as well as interplay between inflammatory cells and non-immune cells in the pathogenesis of alcohol-associated hepatitis.We also discuss the recent advanced technologies in characterizing liver inflammation and briefly outline potential therapeutic targets for alcohol-associated hepatitis.
