Appreciation of the teaching results of "Technology of Prosthodontics" in advance of "Prosthodontics"

The course of Technology of Prosthodontics is a course arranged in the third year for the student in Stomatology and an important part of Full time Stomatological Medical Teaching Course System in our school.To appraise the teaching results,a questionnaire was designed and filled out by 30 students in Grade 2002.Students' satisfaction about the arrangement and teaching pattern of the course,impact on students' studying interest,confidence and preference of speciality,and comprehension of basic concepts on prosthodontics were valued.Results showed that the Technology of Prosthodontics was designed and arranged reasonably.The initial message about the content and features of prosthodontics was advantageous to improve studying interest.However,continuity between Technology of Prosthodontics and stomatology should be emphasized.It supposed to be better to add more classes and set up a proper examine standard.
