Effect of Water Hyacinth on Removing Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Sewage

[Objective] The research aimed to explore the approaches of the utilization of water hyacinth.[Method] The purification experiment of water hyacinth was conducted to study the removal effect on TP and TN.[Result] The removal rate of TN and TP reached 70%-85% and 55%-60% respectively under natural condition.The removal rate of TN and TP fitted 1 grade dynamic equation.And it had a good correlation.[Conclusion] Water hyacinth had purification ability for different content sewage.
