Venous cerebral hemodynamics has been studied in 20 virtually sound military personnel. 120 instrumental tests were carried out. Blood flow rate in proximal and distal parts of internal jugular veins has been determined by means of ultrasonic doplerography. Blood flow rate in a distal part of internal jugular vein was shown increased considerably during small "ortostasis" conditions, that's why it is advised to determine blood flow rate in a distal part of jugular vein when we assess physiological activity of mental work, but for all that time averaging of max. blood flow in internal jugular vein should be taken as a control index.
