Research Status on Dealkalization of the Red Mud by Bayer Process

The significance of dealkalization on the red mud of Bayer process was described. The chemical and physical properties and phase characteristics of the red mud were expounded. The existing problems on the dealkalization process were summarized and the suggestions on efficient dealkalization of the red mud of Bayer process were put forward according to the research status on dealkalization of the red mud of Bayer process at home and abroad.
