STRUCTURE OF THE NICKEL FOAM PREPARED BY ELECTRODEPOSITION

The nickel layer structures of nickel foam at different stages in theelectrodepositionprocess were observed, and it was found that the nickel layers after both electroplating and treatmentin air at 600 ℃ for 4 min possessed the microcrystalline structures with obvious flaw, but become thecompact nickel crystal ones with even surface and big crystal particles after enough sintering treatment inNH3 decomposition atmosphere at 85℃ or 980℃ for 40 min.
