Eight compounds were isolated from the mycelium of marine-derived fungus Hypocrea virens by using silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,open ODS column chromatography and HPLC.On the basis of spectral data and physicochemical properties,their structures were identified as 1(10→6)abeo-(22E,24R)-ergosta-5,7,9,22-tetraene-3α,11α-diol(Ⅰ),24-methylenelanostane-8-ene-3β-ol(Ⅱ),(22E,24R)-ergosta-5,7,22-triene-3β-ol(Ⅲ),(22E,24R)-ergosta-8,22-diene-3β,5α,6β,7α-tetraol(Ⅳ),5α,9α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-diene-3β,6β-diol(Ⅴ),5α,8α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta-6,22-diene-3β-ol(Ⅵ),(22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-diene-3β,5α,6β-triol(Ⅶ),3β,5α,9α-trihydroxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-diene-6-one(Ⅷ).Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ,Ⅷ were isolated from the Hypocrea genus of marine-derived fungus for the first time,and compounds Ⅲ,Ⅵ,Ⅶ were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Hypocrea virens for the first time.
