Terminalia chebula Retz is a plant belonging to the Rangoon creeper family.T.chebula Retz is used extensively in traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Mongolian medicine.Extracts of T.chebula Retz have strong antibacterial,antitumor,and antioxidant action,so they have considerable potential.T.chebula Retz has increasingly garnered attention.This article reviews advances in the use of extracts of T.chebula Retz in traditional Mongolian medicine.
