The Removal of Excess Fluoride From Drinking Water by Activated Alumina

Described here are cost‐effective operating practices developed at three water treatment plants for removing excess fluoride from drinking water by activated alumina. By use of these methods the fluoride removal capacity of alumina was increased by a factor of five.
