摘要
Throughout Dunhuang dance, there are currently many practical works that focus on props such as pipa and Changchou.However, there are many props that can be transformed into dance props in Dunhuang murals, and there is no comprehensive space for practical transformation in contemporary Dunhuang dance creation.Therefore, exploring more dances in Dunhuang dance can provide new creative materials and research perspectives for the creation and development of Dunhuang dance.This article focuses on the presentation of waist drum in Dunhuang murals, taking the waist drum images in the 25 cave murals of Yulin Grottoes in Dunhuang as the research object.Research methods such as music history, image science, and literature science are used to mainly study the names of waist drum instruments in history, and the basic situation and form types of waist drum image drawing in murals are deeply explored, Thus, it clarifies the evolution process of the waist drum, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, in Chinese history and the laws of its localization, revealing its profound cultural connotations that have existed in China for a long time, and better understanding the aesthetic style and artistic characteristics of Dunhuang dance.
