摘要
Abstract To achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, the global photovoltaic (PV) base needs to be expanded to 30–70 TW by 2050, which creates a huge market space. Perovskite, an emerging photovoltaic technology, is expected to play an important role in this process due to its low cost and high power conversion efficiency. More importantly, the easily adjustable bandgap of perovskite allows it to be integrated with other advanced PV technologies to break the Shockley−Queisser limit. To further promote the commercial application of perovskite‐based tandem solar cells, it is critical to understand the current research status and evaluate the developing trend of this type of cell. In this review, it is hoped to comprehensively display the perovskite‐based tandem solar cells that are oriented toward commercialization, including the current PV industry, the critical considerations in the commercial route, the state‐of‐the‐art study at labs, and these perspectives for its future development. It is hoped this review can provide assistance for future research on perovskite‐based tandem solar cells, and promote the perovskite PV market to prosperity.
