摘要
OCD affects about 2 percent of children and adolescents. The first line treatment recommendation for OCD is CBT, however, a majority of patients do not get access to treatment due to geographical distances and limited health care resources. Internet-delivered CBT (ICBT) has been proposed as a way to overcome those treatment barriers. One advantage of ICBT that commonly is emphasized is its potential to reduce health related costs for patients and resource use costs for the health care system. Yet, studies on the cost-effectiveness of ICBT for children and adolescents are scarce, and no data exists on the cost-effectiveness for ICBT in pediatric OCD patients.
