Endpoint Prediction of Basic Oxygen Furnace Steelmaking Based on Gradient of Relative Decarburization Rate

摘要
The contribution deals with the proposal and verification of the endpoint prediction of the basic oxygen furnace steelmaking based on a gradient of relative decarburization rate. The paper briefly describes the steelmaking process in the basic oxygen furnace and the decarburization process. Next, it is proposed to identify the relative decarburization rate and use its gradient to predict the endpoint of the steelmaking process. The algorithm and required inputs are designed and described. Finally, the results of the verification of the prediction of the endpoint of the steelmaking process are presented and analyzed.
