Strength characteristics and microstructure of some piezoceramic composites

Abstract Strength properties and microstructure of three types of composites with piezoceramic matrix have been studied. As fillers dispersed particles, glass and a polymer were used. All these composites exhibit better strength properties, mechanisms of fracture are, however, different in all these materials.
