Mixture Formulas Applied in Estimation of Dielectric and Radiative Characteristics of Soils and Grounds at Microwave Frequencies

Thirteen well-known formulas for dielectric permittivity of mixtures are examined in order to select the best model for the description of dielectric properties of moistened soil. The selection of the best model is made by comparing theoretical results and experimental data.
