Analysis of Buckling Pipelines Due to Internal Pressure and Lateral Pressure

When pipelines are considered to be shell structures,they may exhibit structure failure due to the buckling.Research on buckled pipes is described in this paper,which subjected to both internal pressure and lateral pressure,and the critical buckling load and buckling model is analyzed,using the FEM.The effects of thickness internal pressure and imperfection on critical buckling load are also examined.
