Transformation of economic pattern has been made in different stages in China and Russia because of the drawback of planned economy.That is the transition from traditional planned economy to market economy.As a result,there appear the gradual reform and radical reform.The analysis of historical condition of economic transformation and implemented economic pattern in two countries and the summary of lesson drawh from the reform of economic system and operation of Russia will contribute to the success of Chinese reform of economic system.
