Quantitative determination of K, Ca, and Mg in fresh tobacco leaf by near infrared spectroscopy

Chemical components K, Ca, and Mg in fresh tobacco leaf were determined by near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) using partial least square as well as diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Results showed that NIR could be applied to identify the content of the above 3 components in fresh tobacco leaf.
