摘要
AIM To examine the effect of percutanious coronary intervention (PCI) conducted at different time on QT dispersion (QTd) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). METHODS Seventy-eight patients was divided into two groups according to the time of PCI: acute PCI and delayed PCI. We calculated QTd of standard 12 leads electrocardiograms before PCI and after PCI in all the patients and then observed the difference of QTd between the two groups. RESULTS In both groups, the QTd after PCI was remarkably shorter than the QTd before PCI (P0.05). The QTd of the acute PCI group was much shorter than that of the delayed PCI group (P0. 05). CONCLUSION Successful PCI notably reduces the QTd in patients with AMI. But comparing with that of delayed PCI, the QTd of acute PCI is much shorter, indicating that acute PCI has better efficacy than delayed PCI in patients with AMI.
