Aim:To analyze the three-dimensional(3D) ultrasound application value in fetal limb deformities diagnosis. Methods:According to the result of two-dimensional(2D) ultrasound,31 suspected cases of fetal limb abnormalities were selected and further checked by 3D.The results of 3D ultrasound and those of delivery,2D and 3D ultrasound in theparts of deformity and the accuracy of the details were compared. Results:All cases could be checked by 3D scanning, and 3D image of surface or maximum transparency were obtained.Diagnostic accuracy rates of 2D and 3D ultrasound were 81.1%(56 /69),94.2%(65 /69),and accuracy rates of lesion details were 76.8%(53 /69) and 91.3%(63 /69).There were significant differences between 2D and 3D results(χ2 = 7.111 and 8.100,P 0.05).Conclusion:3D ultrasound could provide more diagnostic information of fetal limb and details, and is of great diagnostic value.
