Study on the Graft Copolymerization Reactionof Vinyl Monomers and Hydrolyzed Collagen Polypeptide by~(13)C NMR

By comparing the chemical shifts of hydrolyzed products of collagen, homopolymers and copolymers of vinyl monomers,the graft copolymers of vinyl monomers and hydrolyzed collagen polypeptide in~(13)C NMR,it can be confirmed that the graft copolymerization reaction of vinyl monomers and hydrolyzed collagen polypeptide take place with ammonium persulfate as the initiating agent.Results showed that the characterized absorption of graft copolymers appeared at δ=(69.6)～69.8 and 44.1～44.5.The reaction mechanism was deduced too.
