CONCEPT OF ADVANCED MAN-MACHINE INTERFACE IN LARGE CIM SYSTEMS AND ADAPTATION FOR SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY

In large CIM systems such as shipbuilding CIM, their man-machine interface plays an important role. Users operate a variety of applications, communicate with various other users and contact databases using man-machine interface within the system. The man-machine interface is required to have the functions of a system manager. In this paper, the concept of management System is proposed as an advanced man-machine interface, and its functions are discussed. A practical image of the Management System in shipbuilding CIM is also presented.
