Analysis of volatile constituents from poplar leaves by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry with solid-phase microextraction.

The volatile compounds from the black poplar leaves were efficiently extracted with solid-phase microextraction(SPME) at 45 ℃ to perform gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC/MS) analysis.The GC/MS analysis indicated that the volatile compounds from the black poplar leaves were 2-hydroxy-benzaldehyde,(Z)-3-hexen-1-ol,acetate,(Z)-3-hexen-1-ol,2-ethylhexyl salicylate and so on.
