摘要
MXenes, a current recruit of the two-dimensional (2-D) material family, is a remarkably fresh and amazing category of substances with diverse compositions and interesting features for instance dissolution rate as well as metallic conductivity. These excellent attributes have piqued the interest of many researchers, and substantial investigation on MXene has been initiated, with emerging concepts identified in the disciplines of power storage, detection, electromagnetic shielding, and so on. Because of these characteristics, they are promising alternatives to be used as reinforcement in polymer nanocomposites. However, because MXenes contain an abundance of surface functional groups, their physical and chemical characteristics can be optimized by the establishment of MXene-polymer composite materials. Polymers can be used to increase interlamellar separation distance, decrease the separation of ion/electron mobility, increase the surface hydrophilicity, and therefore mentor the gathering of MXene-polymer constructions. Furthermore, numerous MXene/polymer nanocomposites have been established to date, with many astounding results reported. Nevertheless, synopses of the current state and advancement in this profession are uncommon. The main motive of this chapter is to review the various synthesis method as well as the scientific pathway of MXene/polymer nanocomposites. Furthermore, the numerous different Structural, Morphological, and Tribological Characteristics of Polymer/MXene Composites are summarized, accompanied by novel applications and noteworthy consequences of the composites in biomedical, perceiving, electromagnetic safeguards, and other pastures. Ultimately, the Polymer/MXene Composite's advancement opportunities and strategic issues are elucidated.
